Established in 1988, Willis Bond & Co is a property development and investment company specialising in large-scale, mixed-use real estate, particularly waterfront developments. The company has established an enviable reputation for creating high-quality retail, residential and mixed-use communities in modern urban environments.

Willis Bond has $228 million of capital in two development funds. The most recent commenced in April 2014. The funds provide a large, secure capital base for development projects. Investors in the funds include the New Zealand Superannuation Fund, the Government Superannuation Authority and ACC.

Studio Pacific Architecture is the lead architect for Sunderland. With considerable experience in the fields of urban design, masterplanning and architecture, Studio Pacific has completed many award-winning projects including Beaumont Quarter and Lighter Quay in Auckland, and Seatoun Waterfront and Kumutoto in Wellington.

Studio Pacific brings international experience to New Zealand projects, combining local knowledge of the New Zealand landscape and socio-cultural fabric with urban design approaches from around the globe. Other current projects include the Willis Bond-led residential development at Wynyard Quarter, the Springpark housing development in Mount Wellington and Ormiston Town Centre in Manukau.

Established in 1988, Salmond Reed Architects has worked on some of our country’s most notable heritage building conservation projects, winning a number of coveted industry awards.

Salmond Reed is responsible for the refurbishment of Sunderland’s heritage homes, together with designing sympathetic alterations and improvements.

Haydn & Rollett Construction is the lead building contractor for Sunderland. The company was established in 1946, and has a long history of delivering quality buildings and property developments. Haydn & Rollett built the majority of the Kensington Park homes in Orewa, Metlifecare’s Poynton retirement village in Takapuna and the Carlaw Park student accommodation campus in Parnell. Other current projects include the Willis Bond-led residential development at Wynyard Quarter.
