Sunderland is a remarkable place. The location and orientation provide an uninterrupted northern aspect, bathed in morning and afternoon sun. The Hobsonville Point coastal walkway runs alongside the northern edge of the precinct and circumnavigates the peninsula. Access to it couldn’t be easier.

The new state-of-the-art primary school and secondary school at Hobsonville Point are all within easy walking distance; as are the planned early childhood centre, retail offerings and health facilities. The Landing, the departure point for the new Waitemata Harbour ferry to the city, is a two minute drive away.

Sunderland is an equal distance from the Auckland CBD via either the Northern motorway or the North-Western motorway. The drive is approximately 25 minutes.
