Coastal Walkways and Parks

The Hobsonville Point Coastal walkway will loop 4km of track suitable for walking and cycling along the coast. The walkway will cross Hobsonville Point Park, The Landing and Bomb Point along the way.

Hobsonville Point Park is a few minutes’ walk from Sunderland and includes a magnificent sculptural playground, inspired by native seedpods found on our coasts, and Tiwatawata, a John Reynolds charred poles art installation.

Bomb Point is 11 hectares of rolling land with 270 degree water views. The land is dotted with reminders of the area’s wartime history, including munitions storage bunkers.
